The ODBC Administrator is an application which allows for the complete configuration of the ODBC system from a friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI). The principle tasks one can perform with the ODBC Administrator are;
The ODBC Administrator is depicted in "Figure 01". The appearance of
the ODBC Administrator may vary slightly depending upon the desktop
environment.

There are a number of ways to run the ODBC Administrator.
The ODBC Administrator can be invoked from the command-line as
follows;
$ ODBCManageDataSourcesQ4 |

An alternative is to invoke it using the odbcinst command-line tool
as follows;
$ odbcinst -m |

You may find that the easiest way to run the ODBC Administrator is
to find it within your desktop menu/icon system such as the KDE 'start'
menu.
